M-TDI Pump *UPDATED 1/7*
« on: April 21, 2007, 09:19:31 am »
*I'm in UK, but will ship all parts to US/Canada*

Sorry i've left this so late for those interested before, anyway;

I have the following left:

a 11mm DI mechanical pump (no LDA on it though) with aluminium spacer
http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b78/aidanb19/AAAA0203.jpg
Would like £50 + postage for it.

The turbo, clocks, GTD pump, and injectors are now sold.

I may hang on to the pump so I can use the 11mm head on my spare tdi pump (if its even possible).

The pump weighs 10kg, turbo is 25kg, if you wish to price your own delivery.
The best I have found is around £75 insured for a 25kg item, i.e turbo, in 3-4 days. £150ish for 50kg package. ($160can - 25kg, $320can total)

If anyone in the Uk wants the bits I can deliver personally

All parts: http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b78/aidanb19/AAAA0197.jpg

Well parts aren't hard to find here, we've had the 1Z's since '93, all trucks are diesel also.
Shipping I will find a price but I don't know any carriers as yet.

The interior is more GL spec than GTI, very strong tweed non-sport seats. The exterior is just a standard 5 door small bumper with arches and 14" steels.

I have been looking for a diesel tach - if the cluster, or the tach from the cluster, become independently available, let me know...

Thanks!

How frightfully expensive do you suppose the K14, manifolds, and intercooler would be to ship to Canada ?!!!

Have had a couple of pms regarding the parts, will see how they turn out.

Shipping is bad as expected, the best prices so far come at up to 10kg is £38($85CAN, $76US), up to 25kg is £62 ($139CAN, $124US)

As far as I can tell, I think the IC and cluster would come in at under 10kg no problems, and I think the turbo, pump and injectors will be a close call at 25kg.

Regarding pipework; both manifolds and downpipe, plus aux water pump and pipes are available with the turbo, all pipes, shrouding and brackets are available with the IC, all brackets and pressure pipes, and new sealing washers are available with the pump and/or injectors.
Cluster still has the plug in the bottom so you can see what wires go where if its different - it is CE2 electrics

£20 + delivery for the speedo. That is $39us currently.

Delivery in the UK is £5 signed for, delivery to USA is £30 or $59.46us

Total will be about $100us , final price depends on the exact dimensions of the parcel.

It is sad when you smell smoke while driving and you think" some poor SOB must have an engine fire. Oh well sucks to be them" only to notice smoke billowing out of your car and be over heard saying "not again".
