Question about seats
« on: December 12, 2004, 03:24:28 pm »
I'm getting ready to tear my '87 Jetta down. The seats in my '96 are beat to rats**t... can I use the front seats from my 87? Please say yes.

I don't think so... A3 seat tracks are closer together than A1/A2 seat tracks, so they are not interchangeable like the A1 and A2 seats are.

Where are you at?  My brother wants a nice Golf interior for his 89.  He would also like a nice exterior in white.  His outside is all scabbed up and full of dents but it looks like the car wants to live on. :)

I'm in Saint John, NB. Probably not worth his while. Too bad...
