I was just checking otu your site as well as your ebay ads.

You might want to revise your ebay add Item number: 200096443929

If a guy knew nothing about diesels and purchased the engine he might not think the performance and mileage are similar to that of a tdi.
Waiting for a bigger better diesel to come along.

Actually that motor will provide similar milllage, on average I recived 1006 km's from the engine on a full tank in a MK3 TD. The Motor will provide similar performance to that of the TDi, It was rebuilt with 1st oversized pistions, larger valves, and a ground cam. I stayed 1/2 a car length behind a Stock MK4 TDi with 200 000km's on the engine, with the eninge in a MK3 Chassie with a stock K14 Turbo.

Similar performance and mileage in a car that isn't as heavy lol.  The add simply isn't accurate and none of the additional engine work was listed last time I looked at it...

You are selling an engine, not the car and engine, the engine is certainly not making 90hp and 155ft-lbs of torque at the same economy (unless the pump is modded etc) as a TDI, not an accurate ad.

I'm sure you aren't traying to be misleading like alot of ebayers can and do but "someone" could potentially believe the advertisement to be of a fraudulent nature since you list none of the engine mods to substantiate it being the equivalent power to a tdi.

The comparison of chassies and motors are debatable as both sides have vaild arguments as you have stated. The MK4 is a heavier car, the MK3 is a lighter car. But if you read the Ad I only stated that this would be a viable swap into a A2 or A3 chassie car, this option is an option for the MK4 but to my knowledge has not been done. The milage and performance of the motor are only that of witch chassie it is installed into as Weight Ratio's, Maxiumm fuel cell capiblities and ect are in play.

The modification to the engine were ommitted in the E-Bay ad to stop any confussion as to what the motor actually was. As this motor was never in the US and most buyers on E-Bay for these items are located in the US. You would not belive how many questions I get regarding shipping in my other auctions when I use Flat Rate shipping.

I am not trying to misslead anyone with the Ad. I encourage anyone to question whatever they are buying (weather it be my items or that of another seller) if they have questions pretaining to the items.

It's all in the wording man.  Similar can mean a lot in a court room.  After all, the 1.9 TD with smog's mods can produce as much, and even more than a stock TDI engine.

Of course I would have used words like "Can give similar performance", but it's all good!

If some newbie were to buy that motor and ask "hey my motor is running like crap... my TDI has way more power than it!" then the questions you ask him are... "did you have the motor professionally installed?"

You must also realize that anyone with knowledge of the TDI engine's will know that they have intercooler's, and you simply cannot produce 'similar' power on an AAZ without one.  Questions, questions, and more questions!

VDub_Fun is a good guy.  I've bought some stuff off him with no issues.
