Hi can anyone confirm the correct part number for the sensor G27 that is connected to the glow plug relay T terminal . car 1992 jetta 1.6TD. checked the continuity when cold sensor was open . Bentley manual section 8 group 6.2 says continuity below 122F/50C. sensor for temp gauge had resistance about 800 ohms @ 65F in shop, gauge works. both sensor are black 2 pin. part # on both sensor same 251919501A or D, letter not clear. dealer said they do not show different part # ??. if glow plug sensor opens above 122F how can the one for the gauge work when it has to vary to indicate temp reading. sorry for the long post, wanted to give enough info .
