Are the 1.6 NA engines prone to crank/ pulley problems like the 1.9's? I think the pulley slipped on the end of the crank on my 84 NA Rabbit motor and I'm wondering what part usually gets ruined, the crank or the pulley?

In my case, it was both. But I don't believe it's a common problem with the 1.6 engines, really only a high potential on the engines with regularly used AC? I think that's the drift I've gotten...
