Nuts and bolts etc..
« on: April 01, 2007, 06:06:19 am »
Just got my first TD engine on the stand last night and tore it down to the block.  Which nuts and bolts do you reuse, and which do you replace with new?  I am talking valve cover all the way down to the oil pan?  What other components do you reuse?  I am thinking about replacing the water pump, alternator, and starter( going with early style).  all other brackets and such will be cleaned blasted and repainted.

I forgot to mention, I will be going with the ARP head studs, Main bolts, and crank bolts. So, other than that, what bolts do you go new with.
