Where to get injector heat shields?
« on: April 01, 2007, 12:27:17 am »
I will be testing my compression soon and am trying to find injector heat shields. Do the NA 1.6 and the turbo 1.6 have the same shields? I can find them for the NA but I have been unable to find ones meant for the turbo.

shipping just for heatshields is kinda ridiculous.. if i were you buy like 5-6 sets to make it worth it.

i'm sure the local vw dealership can supply them though.  $$$

Heat shields are included in full head gasket sets. Ironically everything is in the kit except the head gasket and bolts.
