I need a reasonably priced good used set of lifters and camshaft for an 86 1.6TD. let me know what you got for sale...

Well according to under the hood of the car it's mechanical, but the lifters I took out of the head have no adjustment shims in them. I've played with plenty of mechanical gas heads and know what mechanical shims look like. So I'm assuming my head is hydraulic. If you want a pic of the lifters I can post one.

Lifter from diesel 1.6 td head

TD one on right next to my 16V mechanical lifter

It's identical in appearance to my other hydraulic 16V motors lifters.(I use to be a 16V fiend. Hence the rabbit being built in my signature)
