would a 12 mm for a TDI work, the 98 style?? is the 1.9 td pump head bigger than a 1.6. i have one of those pumps

no, 1,6 and 1,9 TDs have 9mm plungers, but the camdisk ist different: 2,2 vs. 2,6mm lift-heigt.

better are camdisk & plunger from a pump off an Iveco 2,8TDI: 3,6mm & 12mm plunger

should be good for 200HP+

1.6D/TD came plate have 2.2mm lift and some profiles, different HP engine.

1.9TD 1993-1995 have 3.2mm lift (firts satge inj. 150Bar), and 1995 and up 2.8mm lift (first stage inj. 130Bar)

going to pick up my new car(84 rabbt GTI) tonight,
