I think you meant: "How long before that thing's putting 1500 ft-lb?"

Do you still have the A4 Marc? (I thought you kept the A2 when you bought the A4, but I'm not so sure). :?:

The truck has 173K ( miles ) on the clock and run very well.. I won't keep this stock, i will add new injectors, tweak the fuel pump and bump the boost.. It will be a nice beast for this winter..

I still have my 2 VWs..

I just bought a '92 D350 dually, 230k miles, engine runs like a watch - OK, a clattering diesel watch - but still a watch  :D

Good, but a pay site, I'd rather spend my sheckels on bombing hardware!

Try "DieselTruckResource.Com" as well, it's free.

PS: Just think of the Dodge/Cummins as an excellent tug for dragging more Vdub smokers home!

Marc - looks great!

I'd love a diesel tow rig so I could tow the Rabbit to the cross country events in true diesel style... this would be awesome sort of machine for that duty.  Of course a Toureg V10 TDI would be the ultimate, but they are pricey!

Nice looking truck, I have a '97 3500 5spd (with a con of clutch with the nig flywheel) with duals and a flat deck (work truck) its got a #10 plate starwheel mods, afc slid forward, 4k governer kit, makes about 350hp at the rear wheels, and at 8500lbs is just quicker then the vw i think its a clutch thing   . Anyway nice find, hope you have fun with it. As for injectors (my next purchase for the truck) I would recomend the bosch 370's, but I would do a camplate, gov kit and guages first.
