Clutch in a Dasher?

Will a Clutch from an '84 Jetta Diesel fit in my '81 Dasher (both manual)?

No, it won't fit. On the Jetta, the clutch pressure plate is bolted to the crankshaft, on the Dasher the flywheel is bolted to the crankshaft.
