warning for WVO etc users

Maybe an incentive for people to use environmentally friendlier alternatives such as WVO, SVO, ethanol, electricity, etc. would be to NOT charge any road taxes.  I know this might eventually cause road maintenance funding issues, so if the law was written to do this until the percentage of users reached a given number, it could act as an incentive for more people to start using alternatives to gasoline and diesel.

yeah, out one side of their mouth they say there isn't enough vegetable oil to even run a small percentage of our vehicles... then out the other side they are saying they will lose too much revenue if they make vegetable oil exempt from road use fuel tax.
 They sure do get embarrassed when someone actually trys to fine these people, and it becomes front page news that they don't give a damn about renewable energy. Suddenly bills get introduced to address the issue.
 All the handouts to the large biodiesel manufacturers and the reduction of tax at the sale point for biodiesel... but we haven't asked them to hand us any money.
 Just stop using regulations that make it more difficult to run on SVO, than it is to run on petro. We are already putting time and energy into running renewables. Asking us to fill out a bunch of paperwork only adds to the effort needed to do the right thing.
