Vacuum Operated Turbocharger Diaphragm

Also called the VNT actuator, these tend to deteriorate, with rusty housings and damaged diaphrams. This will cause poor turbocharger performance, in some cases owners have had their turbocharger replaced all due to this part causing the problem. It may move freely but still could be a source of problem due to a damaged diaphram.

Try Charlie at kermatdi.com.  He takes used VNT-15s and '17s on trade, and might have a few he could part out.

If you can't find one through the sources already listed, try posting in the parts 4 sale/wtb section of tdiclub.com, lots of junk collectors on there too :D
