A GT37V used on the Ford Powerstroke and International DT466E's would do well for an engine that size.

D#$% F$%* S%$#
I bent my turbine shaft! I got to rammy and bent the shaft. So now i need a turbine/shaft, center section and a rebuild kit.

The compressor housing does infact say GT1749V. It says 49 on the inside of comp. outlet. So this means i have a vnt17 compressor, on a factory TDI vnt15 compressor? I guess i need a 15 turbine and a 17 or 15 center section.

I thought I had a spare center section to use while mine is getting rebuilt but it's different.
The other one is about 1/2" too narrow to even fit in the exhaust manifold.

No holes where there are holes on the VNT-15.
The vane operating levers are different.
The compressor wheel is too wide for the bore.
What kind of VNT is the one on the right?

The other center section seems to be from a 2004 TDI BEW block.
 Called the KP-39

Edit: Anyone know how these 2 turbos compare?

How do they compare?
Is one better at the low end but better up high?
The KP-39 is a later model,..
 Improved in any way?
