im not sure if i should swapout the 91 eco pump for an 85 quantum td pump or just do a head swap?

swap the lda top over and the 9mm head over

what is it that you want to do exactly?? turbo your motor??  install an ecodiesel injection pump on an '85 quantum TD for some extra power??? then yes you would need to swap the LDA top over to the ecodiesel since it does not have one.

If you're trying to swap an '85 quantum injection pump to the 91 ecodiesel, then go for it...

a rebuild would do wonders for power though  :wink:
