I need to know what engine this is. The cast nr on the engine block is: CK 441 112 and the head cast nr: 068 103 373.
I believe itīs an 1.6 but need to be sure. And it looks kinda old by judjing from the older style vaacum pump. Itīs from a Passat.
Any info appreciated.

I have a vacum pump just like that. I have always thought mine was a 1.6. Maybe i'll have to look. Where are the casting numbers?

On the block just under the radiator hose coming out of the head. You will see a flat surface, look for the first two letters. You may have to shine a flashlight at different angles plus try to clean the surface off with a wire brush or screw driver.
I found this picture that shows where the engine code it.

Definitely a 1.5L based on the CK code, and also definitely out of a Passat as the alternator is not mounted in front of the fuel pump like in the Rabbit and Jetta.
What's your plans for it?
For tech info get a Dasher Bentley manual.

Heck yeah, same here. If nothing else I'd love to get the fuel pump off of it.
If the shipping's not too out of control I'd pay to have the pump sent here to states. I'd love to have an extra for fiddling with before ripping into my own.
