turbos yet again...

just a quick question, would a K26 turbo be suitable for a 1.9TD or should i just go with a K24


1996 Golf 1.9TD
1984 Rabbit 1.6TD
1987 Jetta Coupe 1.6D

i'd go with a k24.  I've heard its a lot better... will give u boost at around 2k rpm whereas k26 gives u boost at 3k...

Talk to Dr. D it seems to me that he is running a K26 hybrid, good for 35psi or so :twisted:

you can see a hybrid turbo there.  typical boost at 2.2k rpm which is impressive for the boost potential.  Great site for CIS injection cars as well.  Priced in $USD, but hey! 1.18 exchange rate is very appealing right now :)
