A lot of you on here seem to remove your A/C setup, anyone offering the complete set for sale?
I am in the UK and I know it will be expensive to post.
I don't really know how much you'll want, but I can get some half-decent stuff here such as GT22V's fairly easy if a trade is needed...

GT22V??? hmmmmmm turbocharger eh..? i have the full a/c setup from a '91 jetta. evaporator.. hoses... compressor. i have not exposed the system yet so that should keep the inside from 'rotting' too badly for the moment. i was told it worked GREAT from the guy who i bought it from. comes with all sensors, and the resistor for the fan if needed as i have the complete car.
how much do GT22V's go for? what type of vehicle do they come off of? whats the shape of the turbo??? I'd want something in really good shape for the trade. got pics???
i even have some o-rings i could throw in.... i installed them on my car and my system is holding pressure really well. they are the high temp type made for R-134a newer style gas.

I believe the 22 was only off the top spec German 5cyl T4, 150bhp. One bonus of them is the compressor housing gives straight exit, similar the 17s and the older T3s for easier pipework on our transverse with oem intercooler. Other bonus is that they can give up to about 220bhp on tdis.
They probably go for £150ish, but remember they aren't bolt on. I haven't got one at the moment, but its easier for me to find one and then make up the difference in $ depending on its shape.
Of course there are many other diesels here, so BMW 3.0D (GT25v) and Merc Sprinter (GT23v) turbos are plentiful, as are 130/150PD parts such as 6 speed boxes, GT17VB's, complete engines...
You get the idea, but I could just give you old fashioned cash for the setup?

I have 2 AC setups that I was told worked great. One is after market and I have the receipts showing that it was installed. I'd be interested in a VNT or cash. Shoot me a PM or email. Both are still installed

hmmm i'm really liking the trade idea though

6 speed boxes... vnt turbo's.... wow! i would take the 6 speed box if i could get it hooked up properly, but with my luck there's always some sort of issue.
all i would really want is a turbo with excellent blades... if the blades are shot then the turbo is pretty much useless... I wouldn't mind tearing into one and cleaning it up... would be a nice project!
hehe looks like burn really wants a vnt too...

Well what you guys could do is have a look round on the UK ebay, try searching for the usual BMW, Merc, Audi and VW (+Seat and Skoda) turbos, but also look for DCI, HDI, JTD, CDTI etc.
Compare the part #s on here;
http://www.turbomaster.info/eng/applications/passenger_cars.phpI think it is possible to find a GT22/23/25 with a flange to match a VW td or tdi ex manifold.

hehe maybe! you could sell yours first though... as my parts car is pretty far and its sooo cold to be removing a/c parts from a car. luckily the condensor & compressor are just dangling there in front. no hoses chopped and its ready to pull... just the evaporator would be a PITA to get out... i could probably cut up the firewall (poor car...) to remove the whole system and leave it charged  but there's probably some sort of regulation against shipping charged system's... lol

FUEL PUMP FOR M-TDI YOU SAY???
what kind of pump are we talking about??? a cummins 4BT with the LDA & camplate off of a TDI motor??? what kind of shape would they be in???
i've been trying to source a '98 or very early 99 TDI engine (bolt in  for my mk2)
if i had an m-TDI pump ready to bolt on i would be one happy man! so hold that thought!

We didn't get that Cummins here as far as I know, the best bolt on I know of is the Fiat Croma pump which we did. Could probably buy a whole car for £100!
We had tdi's from '93, and a few of the tuners can do the ecudefeat so you don't need the clocks or key on the late models, but I guess the delivery cost would be huge.
I know of a complete PD130 engine setup (complete engine, with engine bay wiring and ecu) that needs a sump for £350.

What kind of car do you have.
I noticed on the Rabbits, most of the AC parts are the same gas or diesel. Needs a different compressor and a line going through the firewall needs changed.
My '91 AC Golf gasser converted over to a diesel with AC pretty easily.
