bore out my block

I'm thinking of rebuilding my diesel and I live in oshawa ontario (near whitby ajax toronto etc...)

I don't know where to go to get my engine bored out.  I don't want to trust just anyone to this, so I ask the pros, u guys.  The rest of the rebuild I can handle on my own (i think)

any help greatly appreciated!!!

I repair, maintain and modify VW's and BMW's.
Good work done at affordable rates. Welding and fabricating, too.

There's a little machine shop on Wentworth between Wilson and Ritson, on the North side of the road.  I always get that guy to do my machine shop work for me.  It's right next to Guilmore's automotive repair.  Best machine shop I've found in Oshawa.

There's a VW shop in Oshawa called Vanderheyden's Garage on Simcoe Street.  The # is 725-2519.  They should be able to help you out.

My car had been serviced there up until September when I bought it and it appears that it's been well taken care of.  I've got about 8000$ in receipts from there over 377k km and nothing looks unusual.  Well, he does change the head gasket every time he changes the timing belt but he probably has a good reason for this.  The only goof that they've done on the car that I know of was to put on too narrow of an alternator pulley.

Cheers, Steve
