VM Autohaus.  They get the aftermarket stuff, and also have full access to the VW dealer parts....without the usual obscene dealer markups.

Its too bad, bow wow was cool back in the day, but they have been going down hill for a while, so its no suprise. If you are out at this end of the valley hit up AVR imports in abbotsford, I used to work there and am really good friends with the owners, they are all hardcore vw guys, mostly aircooled, but they get in all my hard to find mk1 parts.

Ditto on Python Parts- outstanding service. And for OEM, my recommended dealer is Speedway Motors in Victoria, BC. They have treated me very well in the restoration of my 4k TD and went the extra mile to find the obselete parts hiding away in the dealer network...and they were very kind in their pricing too!

Great info on the parts places guys, I'll be trying them out.

935racer:  I can't say I was suprised either.  The folks that knew their stuff seemed to dissapear a couple years back.  Still, hard to see it go after dealing there for 25+ years.
