my cars together, the jetta is a turbo the diesel, the rabbit is an automatic diesel

bought some new gums for my jetta, 185/60/14 wide profile bridgestone potenza re960as, i'd say it's the best all season tire you can get in this size, i had a set of potenza g009's, and they were just awesome.

the g60 boost return valve that i'm gonna have chopped and modded at school to remove the valve

theres more to it, but basically all the factory mk1 brackets fuel and air, the factory air box and a garret turbo i'm gonna try out, all freshly sand blasted, and most of it read to be powder coated(for free, i love my school)

and this is how ballers roll

ok now ignore my stupid post, it's out of my system
I just love rabbits, ive also got a jetta TD sb engine here in u.k,
nice motors
Bert
your cars look good together. MK1s are sweet
My jetta is the same color. Wish mine was a two door. That rabbits nice looking too!
haha, the jettas not really that nice, the rabbits pretty nice but it shows its scars. i wish i had an aaz in my jetta XD. or an aaz in my rabbit maybe
Mk1 represent! I've been daily driving my 77 rabbit 2dr for the last few months. I forgot how much fun it is to never know whats gonna break on your next drive

I had a Porsche like that once. I think it scarred me, I hadn't owned a German car since then until last weekend
And than move over to the Netherlands...

You already got your cars in the colors of the Dutch flag.
hey....that G60 boost return looks familiar...going to be running a gasser manifold similar to my setup? I see your also going to be using the stock exhaust manifold from the TD, etc. If you intend to run the gasser intake manifold you'll have to make accomodations for the manifold as the factory TD one will not clear a gasser intake in the stock configuration. On the old built IDI TD I had before I did the mTDI I had to use a centered/backset manifold to allow the intake manifold from an MK1 GTI to clear... but anyways!
Nice cars by the way! the more MK1's, the better... good luck with your projects!
Joe
yeah,, i dunno what i am gonna do to run the manifold, i may just go to an aftermarket turbo, that was the plan when i bought it, we'll see for now i'm just gonna stick the starion intercooler on and turn the pump up haha
