VE pump diagram
« on: November 09, 2004, 04:31:01 pm »
I know that sombody on here has a parts breakdown for the bosch pump.
I have tried searching and have been unable to locate it.
Who has this link and will you post it again for me please?

Yea this is a funny story.

so now that its winter, of coarse I have to replace my glow plugs,no problem.
I put everything back together and the throttle shaft is peeing fuel out like its, well, peeing!
so now I have top off of the pump, and do you think that in one of the four o-ring assortment boxes that I have there would be just one little ring that would fit?
OH NO, that would be entirely too easy!

So here I sit with my car in pieces knowing that I have seen that diagram here and not being able to find it.

enough ***ing, its still the best car I've ever owned

thanx
Ken

Hey Cheng, I take it you didnt work on the pump at all it just started leaking? I had same problem when I took the head off and put it all back together to find it leaking at the throttle shaft. Im positive that i didnt hit it or anything (well I must have then?) but I tried to take the shaft apart and broke my torx bit, after which it stopped leaking.

Never really had a problem since. I do notice though if I move the saft a bit when the engine is not running, I can hear air sqeezing through somthing around the shaft. Anyway hope you get it fixed!
