looks like Jack (
http://www.vwdieselparts.com/forum/) has shut down the vw diesel forum from Ohio so be prepared for an onslaught of questions. I have much of the pages posted by Hagar, up to page 35 I think) if any one should care to reference them. Sad day.

He let the web domain "vwdieselparts" expire... So the whole site is down, not just the forum. DOH!

Looks like it's expired but it's still in that 40 day wimdow where it can be reclaimed by the owner...
Still has the registrant as:
Registrant Contact:
VW Diesel Parts
VW Diesel Parts (NA)
NULL
Fax:
357 Conn Rd.
West Union, OH 45693
US
So, he could get it back if he doesn't want to and some of here want to I'd help get and keep the forum going. assuming he let us.

forum works for me too
and i wouldn't be against contributing something to keep it going.
hagars posts are priceless!
and a fyi, using adobe acrobat (even the trial version) you can save this or any other thread as a .pdf file. very useful for archiving information or if your internet or the board goes down or something.

The VWDieselParts.com forum is not shutting down. There was a minor problem with the DNS (name servers) assigned to the domain. It isn't set to expire until 2007 anyways. For some reason, the NS listings were deleted so the registrar defaulted the name servers to a default web site.
The forum isn't shutting down though. That is out of the question.
