Anyone in the Calgary area?

I'm wondering if theres anyone local (Calgary and area) who knows enough about diesel repair and maintenence who would be able to help me out with a few things, a mentor/teacher if you will.  I'd like to get to the point where I'm comfortable repairing my own car and I'd like to avoid the trial and error aproach.  Willing to work for beer is a plus
