can anyone lend me the 8mm 12 point socket to remove the drive axles? i'm wanting to remove the motor from my parts car... damn special vw tools!!!

I have a spare one if you want to borrow it. I'll be in brampton late sunday night until about 12 noon on tuesday. You can borrow it longer, just mail it back to me if needed

The tool can't cost more than $5, its a triple square, you should be able to buy a set of three that has the ones for the axles, the head bolts and the starter bolts (only on very few models) for under $15 from any tool store.

the 4 pack is around $20 at c-tire. Don't ask the guys at the desk though, they are useless on this one. It's a power fist item and is in the specialty section usually (at c-tire). It includes the ones for head bolts

man i said 12 point 8mm special tool... lol
