020 transmissions

I found a 4T transmission today, and wondered how it would be as opposed to an ACN, ACL, AON, or ASF in my '85 Jetta 1.9 litre TD AAZ code.  I'm having trouble finding any of these where I live.  Anybody used one, or know how it behaves behind the turbo-diesel 1.9 L?  Most of my driving is open highway with ocasional city.

4T trans:    3.67 finals, 3.45 1st, 1.94 2nd, 1.29 3rd, .91 4th, and a .75 5th.

AON, ASF, ACN, ACL:  3.67 finals, 3.45 1st, 1.94 2nd, 1.37 3rd, 1.03 4th, and .75 5th.

As you can see, the 4T's 3rd and 4th are a little taller than the other group's gears.  Does the 4T have the same input spine type and what is the output flange size?
