Regarding the Quantum TD transmission and flipping the differential over:

What offset are you referring to, Andrew, when you mention the offset's not being the same? Is it the shims, S1 and S2, that determine where the differential sits in the housing? Or an actual left-right positioning that isn't the same?

If it's just shims.... well, shims can be adjusted! If it's the actual positioning and it can't be shimmed, well, we're back to the drawing board!

Hmmmm.... looking through the 093 5-speed section...

Going by shim sizes and everything else, it looks like in theory you should be able to swap it. S1 and S2 are the same sizes... Really, I'd need a Quantum differential to actually make measurements of to determine if it would work or not. No telling what scale these drawings are at.
