I've got k24 from 1.6 td in garage, what max boost can I run with this turbo on 1.6 td, ported head, 10mm pump,1.9 metal hg, egt gauge, ic, bigger downpipe and freeflow exhaust? Is that turbo good enough or should I look for different one?

it all depend how much power you wanna make.
the k24 will give on max boost something like 140hp, if you realy go to the max it should give max150hp.

Do you got pics from the porting?

as much as I can get from this setup for DAILY USE car

Read the forum :wink: the con rods should braek at 400Nm

i think you can get something like 170hp or more out of that 10mm.

some say, i dont think its so much difrence, anyway, if you want the max for daily use, i think you can even get a bigger turbo.
i personaly like VNT turbo's, other guys like turbo's like Holset, but i cant say wich is the best.

About your port-job, can you add some fotos on the forum?

there effeciency runs out before 25 pounds, but it's not like you can't run them any higher than that, blake has ran his to almost 40 psi. it's really all about how big your balls are and how much you have to lose, if you can't afford to replace it or have it break, then i wouldn't go above 25psi

If I could get 130-140hp (at the beginning of course

) I would be very, very happy

I've got 95 crank hp at the moment with stock pump, stock downpipe, and garrett T2 at 17psi (fueling not matched to boost)

k24 works

I can hit 30psi with stock pump.
