I believe you should only shim the main spring. I did just the intermediate spring, and although I haven't driven it yet, I don't like the way that you give it a little pedal and the rpm's start creeping up, then all of a sudden go way up.

Is that on an N/A engine?
Can anybody else confirm this?

It is on either engine. This is also what Named TinTin stated in another post, unfortunately after I did the intermediate mod.

It can't be on either engine, because the gov mod guide for the turbo'd engines say to do both intermediate and main spring mods. And giles mentioned to only do one of the mods on the N/A engine. (If I understand correctly)
:?: :?:
I just wanted to confirm if you were having these problems with an N/A or not.
So, how much am I shimming the main spring by, if that's the right one to do?

The reason you should only do one spring on a NA is the fact that it has no turbo and can't use all of the fuel. It just over fuels because the lack of boost.

Correct. And the reason Named TinTin states to not do it on the turbo is because it can cause driveability issues.
