90 jetta TD - the engine surges when it gets over 110 km/hr - gets worse as you step into the throttle -
any ideas - fuel starving - air getting dragged into the system?
pump acting up?
BTW - the turbo has the wastegate out of service - to drive the boost up quickly - this car carries a lotta weight most of the time - so
The BOV is intact - and usually cuts in around 135km/h on hills - but this surging I beleive is not related to the BOV unseating.
can you point to some ideas!
I just pulled hte head - it was suppose to be a rebuild - but the headbolts came out with a racket - and three only had rust holding them tighter than the other seven. wiht the head pulled/checked and put back - I can work on the engine without worrying about the headgaskets fraggin air inot the rad system.
been busy - not around much - would aprreciate points to look for the trouble. Iam around today - Nova Scotia on thursday - not back till next week - no net till then.
Thanks - Centurion -
