removal of block heater????

is anyone familiar with removal of the factory block warmers?  my rabbit has a factory block warmer in it and when it ran away and blew the head gasket i guess the seal around it  blew and now i am having a hard time getting it out, i can wiggle it all over and i loosened the screw but now the screw won't turn and it won't  comeout...

took quite a bit of turning but it came out, just saying this for future reference for anyone taking one out or w/e
