Moving to Halifax - Any Recommended Repair Shops/Mechanics?

I'm moving to Halifax from Ottawa in Jan 07 and was wondering if anyone on the board had any recommendations for good VW mechanics/shops in the Halifax/Dartmouth region. :?:  I have a 97 Golf TD. Cheers.

I agree with stewardc...Harringtons are good. There is also a couple of places in Dartmouth....City Auto on Portland and another guy, but for the life of me I can't remember his name (I'll post if I ever remeber it).

If you're looking outside the city, there's Wayne Fahie in South Rawdon (30 minutes from Halifax) and Cruickshank's in Mt. Denson (40 minutes or so from Halifax).

Why do all you Americans/Canadians have place names straight outta the UK   !
Halifax is 7 miles away from my workshop, but the Halifax in question is the real one, in West Yorkshire, UK!
