K24 Drain Line on 1.9 AAZ Problem
« on: November 01, 2006, 06:45:44 pm »
I am in the process of putting a K24 on my 1.9 AAZ and noticed the supply lines seem to be the same diameter, however the drain line for the K14 seems to be smaller.  I have an adapter to go from the K14 drain line to the K24, but Im wondering if the smaller drain line is going to be ok for my car.

Thanks
Peter

You need a 1.6td drain pipe.Use the banjo fitting from the k14 pipe and the 1.6 pipe's upper half.connect the two different peices using a peice of hydraulic hose etc...

hydraulic hose....... what are you going to clamp that with?? even a single wall one is like impossible to actually clamp enough to not leak oil.
