When I crank the wastegate and BOV shut on my K14, I notice that the boost spikes.. it slowly climbs to 15 psi then.. all of a sudden it spikes to 20-22 psi... what is the reason for this? I figured it should be rather linear..
Any ideas?

good call.. I need to hook it up.. Is it possible that the turbine somehow frees up over 15psi?
I't not using any oil or smoking either.. runs like champ, makes great power etc.. Also oil temp never goes over 135C max
yea i'd be wondering about a spike in egt's as you see your boost peak to 20-22 psi. I'd imagine a spike in egt's, then a drop as the boost increases, then a steady increase in egt's as you hold the boost.
could possibly be from the boost enrichment lda. maybe its sticking a little bit? and maybe you need a new hose going to it (maybe it has lost its seal?)
maybe even test it out by removing the cover and pushing it down, see if its sticky.
