Well guys the title pretty much somes it up. Went to drive a friend home tonight(and it was raining quite hard) and ended up making a panic stop to avoid running a stop sign. ended up locking up the front passenger side tire before comming to a stop. When I took off again there was a loud clunking comming from the front passenger side almost like a CV joint or something. so i took off slowly and started limping it back to residence. So after a hard right turn the noise disapears and everything seems to work fine other then the fact the car pulls to the right under braking a little bit. Anyway im hopping somone can give me an idea about what might have caused this noise because I'm kind of confused. Oh yeah the car is a 95 Golf AZZ and i just instaled a Supersport cup kit(if that could be a cause).

Well you gave some good details, does the car pull at all when normally driving. When you locked up the front tire, maybe you damaged the Caliper, and when you break, it drags more on that side because it may be damaged some how.
But I would check everything and report back anything weird....

No it doesent pull if im just rolling, but if i give it gas or break it does, it feels like i have a really bad ball joint and its going in and out of alignment. if that makes any sense at all.

Sounds like a lower ball joint is done.

That is what it feels like but it doesent explain the loud clunking noise when I took off.

Jack the wheel up and give it a wiggle. The loud clunking may have been your suspension settling, and was possibly unrelated

Check the strut top mount bearing too.

I wonder if you lost the inboard control arm bushings or sheared the bolt and the arm is moving enough to put the sway bar into the axel. Don't drive it until you can see whats broken and fix it. If you can feel a toe change while driving, something is really wrong.

Having a new ball joint put in today. And having it looked over by a mechanic(I hate letting somone else work on my car) so well see how much this will cost me. Il let you guys know as soon as i find out what was causing the noise.
Just wanted to let you guys know that it was the brake disk that broke. broke clean in two must have hit a puddle when i was breaking and well you guys know the rest. Anyway thanks for all the help.
