Okay, some may have read in my other post about my Atlantic about the manifold I plan to use.
The manifold is taken from what is essentially a AAZ but without a turbo.
There is a VW scrap yard at the bottom of the road, I managed to sneak away from the phone this afternoon to scope out if they had any more of these manifolds, and they do.
They will be £20 if anyone wants one, there are 2 left. Postage to US ain't cheap, about £65, so for £85 I can post a manifold to you.
Just a thought, I know a couple of people expressed an interest in these items.

Nice, so a worthwhile mod then!?
Okay, went to breakers yard today and picked up 3 manifolds, 2 are spoken for, there is one spare.
They weigh 3 kg's boxed up, so Im just going to go and get a postage quote.

Do you have an approximate price shipped to Canada from the motherland and how do you accept funds?
If I can't use it I'm sure my 1.9TD powered friend would.

It also appears that it may be a bit too long long runner for the MK IV
I'll Have to see once I remove the egr cooler and guts from below and get around to installing the new manifold.

No offence taken!
I took mine with my phone as it's all I had.
Glad it turned up okay.
Shame it may not be 100% what you were looking for, they have been fitted to MKI and MKII's okay though.

It makes for an interesting conversation piece, my mechanic said, "Where the hell did you get that thing?!" and "Now I need a passat manifold so it will fit my car." lol I'm not 100% sure it won't fit at this point, and if it won't it's only going to be by a bit...so little I think the rain tray could get bent a bit to provide the clearance.

Is a Passat what you lot call a Quantum?
There is the guy who is putting a TD in the back of his Bay, he has what looks like a Vanagon TD exhaust manifold, is that what you mean? also fitted to Audi 80's (No idea what you lot call those!)
