Hey Guy's here is my rabbit up for sale. It was rear ended. Here is a link to pics:

In terms of what is new or replaced here goes. New shocks, strut bearings, radiator, all shift bushings including the shift ball, replaced all of a/c system except reciever/drier, polished teardrops with Falken Ziex tires with 90% tread. Replaced headgasket, 91 GLI recaro's in excellent condition, 6 1/2" Alpine S series speakers in custom speaker pods, Alpine Cassette/ CD Changer controls, Master cylinder, rear brake shoes, rear wheel cylinders, clutch cable, used fuse box, fan switch, lower temp engine fan switch, majority of radiator hoses, all belts including timming belt, glow plugs, CV boots(inner and outer), coolant resevoir, used injection pump, windshield wiper stalk, motor mounts, transmission mount, and windshield. To many cars. This was my work car. I drive a lot for work, so I needed to replace it ASAP . Bought a TDI beetle to replace. After getting rear ended while driving I thought Airbags and a little more vehicle might be the way to go.

Hey Mike...hows San Jacinto and Hemet these days? I lived in Riverside for about 20 years.

Id really like to know what you want for the seats. I still have family there so picking them up isnt a problem.

If you knew how easy it was to find a decent mk1 down here you might not be so concerned about fixing one.

Im calling my brother tomorrow to make sure he is still available to pick up the seats. I have the cash...all kinda depends on him. If I was local Id take the whole thing.

Wow that's too tempting... it's the exact rabbit I want... except in blue. But that'd have to change anyways. Does it still drive fine? LOL (crazy idea brewing)

It has damage in the rear. It runs fine, but current tire rubs. With the smaller spare it would probably drive okay.

Big hammer and some pry bars would fix that. Not like you are going to damage anything new.
