Feeler: 1.9TD stuff (crank, piston, rods, block, etc.)

Sorry to start a new thread, but I need some opinions.

I got a call from a guy this weekend, he lives about an hour from me and has some diesel stuff he wants to unload before going out west for work.

We talked specifically about 3 1.9TD bottom ends that he has. One definately has a bad crank pulley, one is good for sure, one is "I derno".

For the sake of putting a sight-unseen price on this stuff, I'm trying to get a sense of what the bits are worth:

-1.9 crank
-1.9 pistons & rods
-1.9 block (hard to sell due to weight)

Thoughts? It'll be a couple weeks before any deal goes through, but I'll have to put an offer down pretty soon.

I'll take the knackered cranks for $50 a piece.

Local guy had a 1.9 bottom end needing crank fix and new piston for sale  for $400C.  I passed, but I think the price was OK.

Thanks guys... I just wanted to gauge interest.

Looks like I'll probably jump on the deal and tear the engines down over Christmas holidays. If that's the case, I'll offer up the bits & pieces here first.

I've found a good short block for $400.  I'm hoping for a better deal but might end up just dropping the money.  I'm interested in a good crank!
Let me know!
Out.

I'll post a complete list once the deal goes through... I may have to wait him out. he's leaving in a month and not really actively selling them. He'd like to get about 50% more than I'd really like to pay. I think I'll let it sit until the week before he leaves, then make a cash offer.

He's also got 2 running1.6TD engines and one bad one. I may nab those too... depends whether I can stash them in my garage without wifey noticing a huge stockpile.
