Sorry, I can't make this meet

. I got school on Saturday which will only end around 3:00.

I can make it....will bring a cooler full of a variety of soft drinks, few bags of junk food , let me know what we need . I also have a buddy(doesn't have a computer so he hasn't been on this message board) who is a definate 'maybe' but I'm 90 per cent sure he'll come also. I am going to try to make it. I have a family thing later in the afternoon, what time will this start?
I will consult with the g/f on food & post back later to confirm attendance

Edit: Long range forecast doesn't look too good right now, but we have 5 days which means 2803 revisions before Saturday

I'll come, I'm not so sure if one or two people will also come so I'll report back soon,any suggestions specifically to what I could bring food wise or whatever :wink:

hey farkman. you know, i'm more of a night person, and if it was up to me we'd meet up in the afternoon and hang out into the night....so feel free to come down after school if you'd like. i'll be around and maybe doc or quickTD might stay late...everyone else is welcome to stay as late as you want... i still havent broke the seal on that welder if you can believe ...i'd appreciate if you could show me a thing or two....

we're going to meet up at 12 noon at my place, and depending on turn-out and what you guys want to do, we can either stay at my house, or drive about 15 minutes north to green acre park where i have arranged parking, picnic shelter, BBQ and use of their rec hall if the weather turns ugly. if we do, we'll leave for green acre no earlier than 1:00pm to give everyone atleast a one hour window to assemble. exceptions (like farkman possibly coming around 4pm) PM me and we'll sort it out.

hey andy. the more the merrier! erm... you could bring buns for the doc's sausages... other than that... maybe salad or something? desserts? glad to see you'll make it out!

As much as I'd love to come out, Im too far behind on too many projects - including the 94 Golf TD whose engine is still a pile of bits and parts.

i just spoke to my friend who works at green acre park, and he said that i should make sure not to lead you guys on at all.... this is NOT an inside GTG... we will be outside unless there is a monsoon basically :lol: so dress for the weather that day.

in his words "if the rain is sideways we will be in the rec hall... but the picnic area is very calm and well-sheltered, its a great spot for a GTG"

basically there is a bunch of insurance and cleaning deposit paperwork and other bull if we use the rec hall, so we want to avoid that if possible.
