okron1k - are you running a turbo? I assume the GTD is a Turbo Diesel ? If this is the case, you can install a valve to meter the boost control on the aneroid and just put around all the time with it closed, and turn it on when you need it. That would keep your smoke down.

i dont have a gtd it's just a td.. but yes. turbo.
