Giles pump guys quick question for you
« on: October 10, 2006, 10:11:15 pm »
for those whom have purchased the infamous injection pumps from Giles what do you set the timing at on your diesels?

also do you still use the cold start lever and if so when the vehicle is idle does it take much force to pull the cold start lever?

thanks in advance
Justin

i dont have a giles pump, but it doesnt take any force to pull the cold start lever when the engine is running.  sometimes the cable gets gummed up i suppose... i would use a graphite lube to loosen it up... oil just gets gummy after a while
