I’m located in northern Utah and listing my 1984 Mk1 Jetta coupe turbo diesel

I have this listed in other places but most don’t realize the value/cost of what it takes to get a car to this level. I know this forum are those who do.   The amount of money I’m  into this car is far beyond what I'm asking!
I'm not terribly active on this forum anymore but when I was learning I used it a ton and have great respect for the knowledge and helpfulness it has provided me over the decades.

I bought this off BAT auction several years ago (see above) so you can go look up the pics and listing comments there if you want to know far more of the car’s history than I’m listing here.
Of course as many BAT auctions it was misrepresented and I have spent the time I've owned it building it into what I want.

Built as a resto mod and daily driver and that is how I’ve been using it. 

This car gets 50mpg consistently.   

Acceleration is amazing with the new turbo 1.9 engine in it.

Replaced the stock trans with a diesel specific 5 spd FF code transmission. 

Refinished a set of snowflake wheels and put new tires on, including the spare (in Aug)

Reason for selling:

Too many mk1s in my garage.

I’ve run this Jetta for a year (approx 10k miles) to prove out my drivetrain work an it runs like a top. Alas, I’m a tinker and want to change my focus and build a caddy diesel.

AAZ 1.9 turbo(T3) IDI diesel engine; full rebuild .010 os. @440k miles a little more than a year ago (has approx 10k miles on it now)

5spd FF trans w/ 200mm clutch

GTI vented brakes and pads

Bilstien shocks all corners

TT weighted short shift

USRT shift arm bushing housing (shifting is very nice)

Blaupunkt Bremen SQR46 radio
All speakers changed and subwoofer added under DS seat (amazing sound, modern,  and looks period correct, Bluetooth and hands free calling)

Wireless phone charger

Sound deadening mat added in doors, trunk, hood.

Injection pump, injectors rebuilt/ tuned by Giles Performance
Turbo charger rebuilt by G-Pop

Hella ecode headlight lenses and LED bulbs

Tint on all windows including windshield to preserve the crack free dash

Maintenance:
Control arms
Wheel bearings
2" Exhaust with resonator and turbo muffler
Heater core
HVAC flap doors rebuilt

I have receipts on the work I’ve done
There certainly are more items I’m forgetting
