Crankshaft Pulley fell off
« on: October 16, 2023, 08:59:08 pm »
Was driving around on friday night, all of a sudden I had a loss of power steering and my dash lights all came on, oil temp, coolant temp, battery light, everything just went downhill in a couple minute period. Not to mention my coolant temp gauge was maxed out, I had to pull over a couple times and turn the car off for 10 minutes even though I was like 6 miles away from my house. Looks like my crank pulley came off, not sure how and not sure why. Where do I go from here? Anyone got an extra one laying around?

Maybe it wasn't indexed properly? There's a dimple on the crankshaft side and a dent on the pulley that needs to be lined up. Also it's an ass to torque, really annoying. 20nm I think but it keeps moving when I try to do it, really annoying to remove too, with mine I always strip the threads of the 4 bolts.

I would buy a new one and pray things didn't overheat too much to warp things. 068 105 255 H is the parts code. Probably need a new belt too
