What size is the return line on the injectors. Also what route are they supposed to take, the far right one goes to the tall pump fitting but the far left one somebody just stuck a screw and zip tie and of course it leaks. Is there a specific place its supposed to go.

I think the internal size of the hose is 3mm. The route is as you said, from the pump to the #1 injector then to the next, and so on until you get to #4 and that final fitting gets a cap. Most use another piece of short hose and stuff a screw or something like it to stop the flow.

I run both the end ones to a T then go to the tall pump output.
The T can be put anywhere so it's easier to find a route to the pump and gets rid of the spendy cap.
1/8" tubing fits nice and tight.
I like clear line so I can see how the fuel is acting,.. at the very least on the one hooked to the pump.
Clear line coming from the pump heading back to the tank is also important as it will show foam if the input shaft seal leaks.
On the Mk2 it's 3/16", if I remember right the fuel line it goes to is 1/4 or 5/16
if you can get the 1/4" output banjo from a MK1 you won't have to reduce.

You can just use local vinyl line.
Or motorcycle shops have urethane.
If you aren't going with clear line you can even use airbrake line.

Alright, I actually found some viton precut line so i figured id use that as viton can handle nearly anything

Would you please post a link when you have time. The viton kits I found were for TDIs. Too big for the 1.6 idi.

I just installed them. They fit nice and tight and theres no leaks. The lines are the right length and everything so it works, can confirm
