my dads got a freshly rebuilt td in his caddy. i have a fresh engine in my rabbit but ive got no turbo. i have my pump and cam timed up properly and his is not. he timed it by eye untill it ran "good enough". i also believe his turbo wastegate is stuck open because he cant get over 6psi no matter how long he floor it. his engine smokes white at idle, probably retarded timing.
it kinda pisses me off that hes got such a nice motor and wont bother to properly time it to factory spec, so i challenge him to a dragrace and i won. so he complain that i have 205mm tyres and his are 185. so we drag from a rolling start and i beat him even harder!
now he is convenced that he should get around to fixing up his motor.
