This jetta is has a bad bottom end. I tried to sell it to a friend and before we got the title switched he somehow blew it up. Sounded like rod knock. I have no time for it anymore and want to sell. Will NOT come with intercooler, turbo, or IP. That is the bad.
The good:
I have rebuilt just about everything on this car. It has big CV's and ball joints, all poly mounts, strut tower brace, new struts and bearings, new calipers, drums and wheel cylinders, welded in new floor pans, 7" round grill, custom gauge panel, GTI steering wheel, 80% kit in trans, 7A trans, and more. It is a 1.6 MF block with an AAZ head, 210mm clutchnet PP and a Luk 210mm disk.
I have an AAZ block, crank, pistons, and head that can go with it, I have an IP that I was converting to turbo IP, along with many other parts. Have an 02A trans, an 020 that the case cracked but has a bolt kit and was completely cryo treated. N/A manifolds. All would go with it.
Located in North Central Ohio.

And the purpose of the cut blue zip ties is for what?
And the lesson here is to get money, then title switched then keys. Hope he was a good friend.

In the picture where you are looking into the car from the drivers side. There are three blue cut zip ties going though the rubber gasket. Or so it appears. They are cut so I was wondering what was even secured up there at one time.
I would like to see the gauge console as I just did mine on the caddy this week.

The zip ties hold the gasket in place. Works as PO had them there.
I will probably take the gauges but leave the gauge panel. I will search my build thread and see if I have a pic.
I have the PM and will respond.

The engine is the bad in this. It is a roller and yes I still have it.
That said, I am not on here much, so PM as it should send me an email and I will respond to you. I have some IDI blocks that I would part with.
