I'm looking for a pair of tail light assembly for my 4-door VW Rabbit Diesel. Preferably minor cracks to no cracks. I've searched online but they're out of stock or no longer available. Please let me know shipped to 21061 Maryland USA. Thank you.

ALH Swap w/clutch cable in SE CT $1000
« Reply #36 on: July 12, 2018, 07:15:00 am »
A few years ago, I bought a 98 Beetle TDI for the express purpose of harvesting the engine/drivetrain to swap into my MK2. I also sourced a cable clutch setup from Germany, to speed up the process. Shortly there after, my first son was born, and free time went bye bye. I ended up selling the car in 2016, but held onto the swap.

The motor and transmission (02J) have about 163k on them, and I replaced the timing belt, tensioner, roller, and waterpump after pulling the motor. Also included is ecu, 2 engine wiring harnesses, a chassis harness, cluster (not needed- no immo in 98), shifter assembly, intercooler, radiator, and motor accessories. I've got several rubbermaid tubs of parts, and I'm sure there is even more in there. I'm located in Westport, CT, 06880. I'm happy to deliver this stuff within a reasonable distance in the chance you don't have a truck. I'd like to see this stuff get used! Let me know if you have questions.

P.S. I will only sell the cable clutch setup w/o the engine if the engine sells first,  and the buyer doesn't want it!

Thanks for looking!

AGR Engine with K24 Turbo (NO M-TDI)
« Reply #44 on: March 10, 2019, 05:06:00 pm »
I got a used KKK24 Turbo from a Audi90 1.6TD at junkyard, and I'm wondering if, this particular turbo will be a good upgrade to my VNT15!

I've got already a Remap with a VNT convertion, but can I swap this little turbo to the K24 easily and re-adjust my ECU? I don't want mechanical pump, and my power goals is around 160-170hp at the wheels (currently with 128whp and 317nm on dyno)

I know some TDI's come with Wastegsted turbos, and I know there are other turbo options for that power goal, but this seems to be a nice turbo, inspite of the age... Besides, I don't want to chance to another turbo (The less I spend, the better!)

Any recommendation is well welcome!
