Really the best thing to do is get a 1.9td pin or just use an exsisting diaphram and cut a piece of round stock the same size and make your taper on that so you can gain an extra few mm of depth.

This is kind of hard to explain without pictures but think of but picture the stock lda pin beside a piece of round stock the same size, the round stock you can taper almost all the way through the the other side before it breaks, the stock pin will break or run out of meat sooner because its thinner at the top.

haha, that's cool, thanks for the help the other night, i messed with the star wheel and boost pin all day, and then i set it so that it hardly adds fuel under boost, just for my daily driving, but all i gotta do is grab my screw driver and in 2 minutes my car can be a mean lean smoking machine

yea i could have/someday  i will make a  custom one
it took like 5 minutes with the dremel,if that
i used the cutoff wheel attachment ,then a little sandpaper  to polish it up some,so it wasnt so rough, again, with the dremel
i like the dremel with the "speedo cable",and ya hang it above your workbench, easy access
well enough about tools, whoops got a little sidetracked......

one  nice thing is though,if i want i can turn it off of the max setting if i want
it doesnt seem to affect mileage, where i seem to lose mileage is if ya have the "smoke screw" in real far
the taper is close to stock in the beginning of fueling, light boost etc, mthen when its boosted  up good, theres more fuel
its no magic device,it just can enhance what ya got
i notice more turning up the max fuel as far as power goes
but spool up is faster , smoke isnt too bad on the tdi,but it used to be pretty massive on my old1.6td
yea man,i have a lil small pouch in my car with everything to adjust my pump+ wastegate whereever i want, like the side of the road,or parking lots, etc
Throttle cables ftw

would be real interesting to have an electronic aneroid :)  would be real easy to adjust the fueling under boost for *special* driving conditions
