Boost Pin?

I got a boost pin from a 1.6l td pump and was going to install in my '95 td pump but the pin was loose in the 1.9l pump housing. Is this normal :?:

Try it, if is smoking like the hell you will know why.

Did you used the spring and the cover of the 1.6TD pump on your 1.9TD pump ?

I think you should use the LDA cover from the 1.6TD pump to be capable tu adjust the "no boost" delivery (smoke adjusting screw on the top)

But for the spring i dont know witch one is the best.

The spring perch in not the same The 1.6 spring is too short.
Measured the pin diameters and my 1.9 pin is a little more then 1mm bigger.
I don’t think I’ll try it.
At least not until I get the other turbo on there.
I’ll try to find another pin to see if it’s the same.
As anybody out there measured there pin?
