i need a clutch pushrod for a 5 speed

my pushrod is worn down pretty good. i cant disengage the clutch anymore. im looking for a good used or new pushrod and a clutch release plate as well.

are you sure its worn? because on vws its pretty famous of a lever inside the trans to crack and not work anymore. the lever is located behind the green cover on the side of the transmission. the little lever almost looks like a 9 you cant miss it.

so, i pull the green cover and look for a lever in the shape of a 9? ill give it a try tomorrow and post the results.

i looked at the rocker arm that is in the shape of a "9" and it looks good. i noticed the 9 is on a splined shaft. i took and pit the 9 1 click over on the splines so that theres less gap and now the clutch *seems* to work fine.

sence the release bearing inside the trans is accessable via that green cover, is it safe to assume that the pushrod is as well? if so, then i could just install the trans as it is, and if i find that i still need a pushrod and release bearing, can i change those 2 items out while the trans is still attached to the engine and in the car?
